EAGLE FUN DAYS 2010
The Eagle Chamber of Commerce and The City of Eagle would like to thank all who attended Eagle Fun Days 2010. We could not do this without you and appreciate your involvement and attendance for this fabulous event. See you in 2011!!!
Eagle Fun Days is the kick-off for the festival season in the Treasure Valley. The Eagle Chamber of Commerce organizes this event for all area residents to come and enjoy a fun-filled family weekend. Be sure to shop our local businesses as many of them have generously helped in organizing and sponsoring these activities. We estimate over 20,000 people participate in Eagle Fun Days each year.

Carnival — Thursday thru Sunday, June 10, 11, 12 & 13th
Early Carnival Tickets may be purchased at the Eagle Chamber of Commerce, Evans Lumber, or Rembrandts Coffee House.
Pre Sale Wristbands - $18.00 each. Wristbands will not be sold at the Carnival. No refund or exchanges.
Purchase ticket/wristbands till 12 noon Thursday, June 10th. No wristband tickets sales after this time and date. Don't wait till the last minute.
Free Wheeling 10K & 1 Mile Fun Run — Saturday, June 12th
10K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run, Saturday, June 12th. 8:00 am Start Time. Start and Finish at the Athlete's Foot, 1580 E State Street in Eagle.

If you ever run or walk for a cause, this one just might be it! We run for those who can’t. All proceeds for this run go to Free Wheelchair Mission to provide mobility to those who most need it. Free Wheelchair Mission Link
Free Wheeling 10 K and 1 Mile Fun Run through the heart of Eagle on Eagle Fun Days. Hundreds if not thousands of spectators cheering you on. Super fast course. (10k race chip timed with Spondoro Racing - 1 mile Fun Run not chip timed). Overall and age group winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Race Packet Pick-up at The Athlete' Foot, 6:30-8:00 pm on Friday, June 11th and 7:00-7:45 am on Saturday, June, 12th (Race Day).
Race Starts at 8:00 am - Course Closes at 10:00 am.
3 Hydration Stations will be provided with percussion bands along the course.
Live Music at Finish Line.
Awards for Age Groups.
Age Groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.
AccelGel and FITSOKS in first 500 race packets.
All finishers of 10K receive Brooks technical t-shirts (late registrants not guaranteed shirts)
Free 4x6 race photo for every runner that Storytellers can capture.
Pancake Breakfast — Merrill Park - Saturday, June 12th from 7:00 am - 11:00 am
Breakfast price $5.00 general admission $3.00 seniors & children
Join us Saturday morning for a delicious breakfast at Merrill Park. It will be cooked and prepared by some wonderful, early morning volunteers. Bring your big appetites — you won't go away hungry!
Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, coffee, milk and orange juice will be served.
Family Bike Night — Heritage Park - Friday, June 11th from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Eagle Fun Days Bike Rally
Friday, June 11th! Decorate your bikes and cruise on down to the lot next to Orville’s off State St. The rally will take place on State between Eagle and 2nd from 6:30 – 7:30pm. Awards will be given to the best decorated bikes for the following categories: 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, Best Overall and Most Unique. Winners will be announced at 8:00pm after the rally!

2010 Eagle Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic will be held at Eagle Hills Golf Course, Friday, June 4th.

Wet & Wild Parade — Downtown Eagle - Saturday, June 12 from Noon to 2:00 pm

Enjoy several local entrants in the parade and then watch out for the second half where it gets Wet & Wild!
The parade will start at Plaza and Old State Street and proceed west through Old Town Eagle ending at near the Basonka Village shopping plaza.
Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed — Merrill Park - Saturday, June 12th from 5:00-10:00pm
Location: Merrill Park Time: 5 to 10 pm
Tickets will be $18 in advance. Advanced ticket sales end at 5:00 p.m. on 6/11/10. Should purchase tickets to avoid longer lines at the entrance. Tickets purchased after 5:00 p.m. on 6/11/10 will be $22.
Tickets can be purchased at any of the Eagle Fire Stations or online at Eagle Fire Dept Website at the online store. Call 939-6463 for information or tickets.
The Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed is a long standing tradition in Eagle and The Eagle Volunteer Firefighters. This event started in the 50’s as a small gathering, the event now hosts several thousand people every year. Whether you have never experienced Rocky Mountain Oysters, or if you are a fine connoisseur who frequently partakes, you need to be at the Oyster Feed! Proceeds benefit the Eagle Volunteer Firefighters Association.
